The people of Romania have stories and well known fairy tales of healing and miracles that have been
passed from generation to generation, usually through old people of the village. In the villages they didn’t
have doctors and usually an old woman would pick plants from the fields and use special words, like small
poems or invocations for healing.

Romania was ruled by communism from 1945 until 1989 and did not go through the cultural changes of the
60’s 70’s and 80’s like many other countries. The people I met in Romania told me that they were given
portions of food allocations, such as 1lt oil, 20 eggs, 1kg of sugar per month. Everyone was employed and
everyone had accommodation, however, the salary was almost the same for everyone. People were not
able to own properties or accumulate personal assets.

It was forbidden to have books or to teach spiritual matters. Church was legal, however if you had a
managerial position, were a teacher or in a leading position and attended church you did not have your job
the next day. Meditation, yoga and martial arts were presented as a bad thing, as working against the
communist system. In 1986 people who were practicing meditation were put into jail!

In 1989 came the revolution and the beginning of a process where the country went into a transition period,
where people experienced freedom and democracy, and with that came the insecurity of jobs and a housing
crisis as there was no communist government to give everyone a place to live. This transition time took
about 16 or 17 years, so the country is now at the very beginning of recovery, which everyone is hoping will
not take too long.

In 1992 to 1995 they started to print books they had not previously had access to. After 2000 seminars in
Reiki and Chi Gong started spreading through the country.

The first Reconnective Healing event was held in Romania in September 2007 and over 600 people from all
social classes traveled from cities far away to hear Dr Eric Pearls “Essence of Healing” lecture. The event
was fully booked out with queues waiting at the door in the chance of being able to squeeze in. Eric Pearls
book “The Reconnection – Heal others, Heal Yourself” was first published in Romanian just before the
seminars and many told me they had already read it at least three times!

“For us it’s a revolution of knowledge. We were scared to talk about healing in the past, but now everyone is
hearing stories of healings. The people have suffered a lot in the past so are very open.”

Many who attended the seminars are saying they can notice the difference this new frequency has brought
them. One person gave a copy of Eric Pearls book to a friend who was suffering from a problem with her
knee. She said ‘No this is not for me” but after reading the book called her friend in excitement saying “It’s a
miracle, the pain in my knee is gone and I can feel the frequency in my hands. You are right”.

The people in Romania say that Reconnective Healing is going to spread, you cannot stop it! They were the
most open and warm hearted people I have met and I feel that through the hardship of their past they realize
how important it is to move on to forge their own future.

We have photos taken from different cameras during the seminars and many show orb like shapes
appearing. It has caught the attention of many people!
